Renovation of the Limmat House Gässliacker Foundation
Renovation of the Limmat House Gässliacker Foundation
Over the past two years, the main building known as Limmat at the Gässliacker retirement centre in Obersiggenthal has been completely renovated. The striking building with its exposed orange clinker brick façade was completely hollowed out and underwent a total refurbishment. The room layout was adapted to current requirements and the wet rooms were enlarged at the same time. Haus Limmat was brought up to the latest technical standards and offers 57 care places for residents. The building is operated with a building automation control system, which can be used to conveniently control blinds and lighting. Special attention was paid to the selection of harmonious lighting that would optimally illuminate the new rooms.
Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to carry out the entire electrical installation. The entire electrical installation was newly installed and corresponds to the current state of the art.
