Renovation of car park lighting at the USEGO building
The USEGO building in Olten is a historic industrial building and part of the former “Union Schweizerischer Einkaufs-Gesellschaft Olten” (USEGO). This striking building, constructed in 1923 and extended in 1931, shaped the logistics of independent retailers in Switzerland for decades. Today, the renovated historic building is used for a variety of purposes. The existing outdoor lighting in the car park at the USEGO building in Olten has been comprehensively modernised. As part of this project, 12 candelabra luminaires were replaced with energy-efficient LED luminaires.
The new lighting significantly improves illumination of the car park, thereby enhancing safety for users, particularly during the evening and night-time hours. At the same time, LED technology sustainably reduces energy consumption and maintenance costs. The replacement of the previous candelabra luminaires represents a further contribution to a future-oriented, energy-efficient and sustainable infrastructure at the site.
Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to plan and carry out the electrical installations. The electrical installations in question were newly installed and comply with the latest state of the art.
