Refurbishment of the Pfaffechappe school building swimming pool

The existing Pfaffechappe school building and its indoor swimming pool were built in the 1970s. The indoor swimming pool was also renovated as part of the refurbishment of the building. The pool was equipped with a height-adjustable floor so that the pool depth can be individually adjusted. The adjusted pool depth is signalled on 2 display boards.
The changing rooms and showers were newly built and are generously equipped with showers and hair dryers.
The entire technical centre was rebuilt and replaced with energy-efficient components. The water treatment system with various filter stages, UV light treatment, ozone treatment and the addition of chlorine for the swimming pool is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC).

Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to carry out the electrical installations. The electrical installations were newly installed and correspond to the current state of the art.
