Refurbishment of lighting in the Schärenmatte residential units Arkadis Foundation
The Arkadis Foundation supports people with cognitive and multiple disabilities, creating living and working spaces that promote safety, inclusion and well-being. As part of the modernisation of the Schärenmatte residential groups in Olten, the entire lighting system in the communal areas was replaced. Over 200 existing lights were professionally dismantled and replaced with modern, energy-efficient LED lights. In addition to the technical implementation, our work included precise planning, coordination with the trades involved, and expert installation, including functional and quality testing. The new LED lighting significantly reduces energy consumption and operating costs. At the same time, the quality of light has been significantly improved, which, particularly in a care facility such as Schärenmatte, contributes significantly to the orientation, safety and general well-being of residents and staff.
Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to carry out the complete electrical installations. The entire electrical installation was rebuilt and now meets the latest technical standards.
