Refurbishment of lighting at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW Campus Olten
The major lighting refurbishment at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland on the Olten campus included the replacement of around 2,500 standard and emergency lights. In addition, 10 electrical sub-distribution boards were replaced. The lighting was replaced with a modern LED solution and equipped with a daylight-dependent control system that regulates the illuminance to a constant level depending on the ambient light. This contributes to a pleasant working and learning environment and also saves valuable energy. The energy saved corresponds to the annual standard consumption of several households per year.
Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned with the planning and realisation of the complete electrical installations. The electrical installations were newly installed and correspond to the current state of the art.
