New temporary school building Triemli / In der Ey Zurich
The population in the Albisrieden district of Zurich is growing rapidly and many young families are moving to this popular neighbourhood. With the rising number of pupils and the introduction of day schools, the need for school space is also increasing. For this reason, the two neighbouring school complexes Triemli and In der Ey are to be expanded. A temporary school building is needed in order to continue teaching seamlessly. To this end, 2 new school pavilions were built on the city-owned site. The two school buildings were built entirely in modular construction and prefabricated in Möhlin. The temporary buildings serve as a fully usable interim solution during the construction phase. The modular construction of the two buildings provides 22 additional classrooms including a catering kitchen and canteen. The classrooms boast modern lighting and functional comfort.
Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to carry out the complete electrical installations. The entire electrical installation was newly installed and corresponds to the current state of the art.
