New-build five-class nursery school in Rain Böttstein
In place of the existing twin nursery, a modern and forward-looking new building has been constructed, which meets today’s requirements for a school building. The building comprises five nursery units arranged in a row and connected internally, as well as a communal lounge with a kitchen and service rooms. Each of the five nursery units has its own covered forecourt. Daylight floods into all the nursery units through the large windows, illuminating the rooms, which are fitted with natural materials. The rooms have been fitted with high-quality LED lighting, whilst the tilt-and-turn windows and electric slatted blinds ensure effective ventilation. The lighting, windows, slatted blinds and ventilation are controlled via a Loxone building automation system. A photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof.
Aare Limmat Elektro AG was commissioned to carry out the complete electrical installations. The entire electrical installation was newly fitted and complies with the latest state of the art.
